Venue

The conference venue will be the University of Birmingham (UoB) main campus in Edgbaston, Birmingham, UK. The Edgbaston campus occupies a site some 4.8km south-west of Birmingham city centre.

Early morning lectures can also be hosted in the Teaching and Learning Building LG 18. The Teaching and Learning Building is an educational hub in the centre of the campus. It is designed to provide a flexible range of vibrant teaching, learning and study environments for collaboration and reflection. The building is IT and audio visual-rich with excellent access and facilities, including the aforementioned 500-seater lecture theatre, another 250-seater interactive lecture theatre, 10 seminar rooms with capacities of 30 people, and flexible learning spaces for up to a hundred people.

Posters and Sponsors will be hosted at the stunning Aston Webb building. The Aston Webb’s Great Hall offers 548m2 of flat-floored space, with ample room to host up to 40 exhibitors stands (although for this proposal we are assuming 30 stands) in addition to refreshments and a buffet

The campus also includes large and numerous areas for quiet or collaborative work and networking.
